Requirements
  • 5+ years of software product management experience - specifically in a B2B context
  • Strong communication and prioritization skills and the discipline to focus on high impact activities
  • Experience defining and capturing product requirements and transforming them into a product roadmap
  • Deep curiosity about customer needs and a track record in building customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions
  • Drive solution development through big-picture solution development
  • Ability to serve as a team lead and coach employees at lower levels
  • Candidates who can join immediately / with short notice and with prior Platform experience will be preferred
Responsibilities
  • You will be part of the Platform Foundation team at ServiceNow
  • The Platform Foundation team works on the building blocks of the ServiceNow Platform
  • These include services such as Adoption Services, Notifications, Document Services, Tags, i18N, App Manager, Store Manager, Upgrade Center among many others
  • These services are used both by internal BUs as well as our customers and so form a very critical piece of the ServiceNow Platform - needless to say these are very high visibility Platform capabilities
  • You could be assigned to any of these product areas upon joining
  • All key individual contributors, PMs have full and sole ownership of the products assigned to them - from Strategy to Building
  • Work from any of these locations - Remote / Bangalore / Hyderabad
  • Interact and collaborate with global teams
  • Lead all aspects of product strategy that sets us up for success as we look to grow to $15B+ in revenue
  • Communicate product priorities and build consensus
  • Assume leadership responsibilities as an accountable owner who is committed to the outcome regardless of the role or organizational boundaries
  • Work with multiple teams (such as engineering, program management, documentation, QE, outbound product management and others) to guide projects through development and bring high-quality products to life
  • Integrate usability studies, research and market analysis into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction
  • Communicate complex problems into easily understood requirements and provide solutions
  • Develop multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the needs of different audiences
  • Lead the promoting of efforts across different groups of team members, along with the ability to influence inside and outside of your team
