Requirements
  • Relevant experience in orthopaedic procedures, which may include hip or shoulder procedures, clinical support, or an orthopaedic nursing background.
  • Three to five years of sales experience, preferably within the healthcare or medical device industries.
  • Proven track record of success in a previous role.
  • Existing knowledge of anatomy and physiology focused on the musculoskeletal system.
  • A consultative approach with the ability to contribute to and enhance strategic thinking.
  • The ability to retain and articulate complex clinical information.
  • A high level of interpersonal skills with the demonstrated ability to engage successfully with all stakeholders.
  • Practical knowledge of the healthcare sector.
  • Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and organisational skills.
  • Adaptability and flexibility in response to changing business needs.
  • A collaborative professional approach with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to present clearly and support education initiatives.
  • A strong work ethic and the capacity to manage competing priorities.
  • A current driver's licence.
  • A current passport and visa, where required, for training in Australia, South Korea, the United States, or Europe.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic sales and promotional plans across assigned territories.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, consultants, fellows, and trainees to drive product adoption and clinical advocacy.
  • Represent and promote Applied Medical positively across customer interactions and align with the company’s values and mission.
  • Oversee and implement call and travel plans aligned with product and market strategies.
  • Use customer relationship management systems accurately, promptly, and compliantly for planning, reporting, and documentation.
  • Maintain product, clinical, and technical expertise in orthopaedics.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support business objectives and growth initiatives.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
  • Understand and adhere to Applied Medical’s Quality Systems.
  • Complete required training and achieve at least a 90% pass mark in LearnShare modules and training programs.
  • Achieve budget through effective product strategy, market development, and commercial execution.
  • Provide and support minimally invasive surgical solutions to hospitals and drive the commercial performance and strategic direction of the orthopaedic product portfolio in public and private operating theatres.
  • Provide clinical solutions and demonstrate value-driven outcomes for stakeholders in the healthcare setting.
  • Work flexibly with regard to hours and travel as required by business needs.
