Requirements
- An active and unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state is required.
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification is required.
- Current intravenous therapy certification is required.
- Availability to work overtime as needed is required.
- Availability to work weekends, including Saturdays and/or Sundays, as needed is required.
- The role requires authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
- The role requires the ability to sit or stand intermittently for an 8–12-hour shift and to push, pull, or lift up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with health care regulations, including Joint Commission accreditation requirements, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
- Perform Licensed Practical Nurse duties, including correctly administering medications, setting up sterile fields, and disinfecting and sterilizing equipment.
- Complete required documentation accurately, thoroughly, and within the required timeframe according to company standards.
- Communicate with physicians, Medical Assistants, Patient Coordinators, and other team members about the daily clinical and surgical schedule, anticipating needs appropriately.
- Document clinical and surgical chart notes accurately and appropriately.
- Provide a high level of patient care and patient service.
- Follow policies and procedures consistently to support positive patient outcomes.
- Support physicians' overall patient retention by providing high-quality patient care and patient experiences.
- Assist with all aspects of the clinical and surgical environment.
- Complete other projects and duties and assume additional responsibilities assigned by Clinical Leadership Members.
