We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Control to join our Markets Control team. This role is located in Pune.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways :

• Own and prioritize the product backlog, aligning feature delivery with business objectives.
• Plan and help execute functional and technical deliveries of platform deliverables. 
• Work closely with all the stakeholders and peer systems to ensure dependent work across different groups is coordinated effectively.
• Understand and optimize automated workflows to ensure efficient supervision of regulatory processes.
• Collaborate closely with Scrum Leads, Developers, and QA teams to ensure timely delivery and solution integrity.
• Act as the liaison between business users (e.g., Business control officers, supervisory teams) and the technology team.
• Assist in identification of required enhancements, defect fixes, and new feature delivery.
• Drive adoption of the tool by gathering feedback and continuously improving user experience.
• Leverage AI tools for daily activities and propose innovative ideas to improve control and efficiency through technology.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

• Bachelors/ master’s degree/ MBA or relevant professional qualification would be advantageous.
• 7-9 years of total work experience required
• Proven experience as a Product Owner in financial services, ideally in a regulatory or control environment.
• Strong understanding of financial markets and trading functions (e.g., Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, Foreign Exchange).
• Good grasp of workflow automation tools, dashboarding, and alerting mechanisms.
• Proven capability to operate autonomously and make sound decisions without supervisory input.
• Strong IT aptitude; comfortable with data flows, process automation, and system integration concepts.
• Ability to analyze complex regulatory control requirements and translate them into product features.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Capabilities to visualize system architecture holistically and work towards org technologies standards architecture.
