  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of relevant education, training, and experience.
  • A valid United States driver's license and reliable vehicle to travel between We Are CASA sites and community locations.
  • Fluency in English, Spanish, and Haitian Creole.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Strong interpersonal communication, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating multiple projects, schedules, partners, or training activities.
  • Strong organizational, communication, customer-service, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage detailed records, data entry, and multiple deadlines with accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including medium work and lifting up to 25 pounds.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with the development and implementation of an integrated Workforce Development Program in Pennsylvania centered on English for Speakers of Other Languages, vocational training, and job placement, ensuring services respond to member needs and the local labor market.
  • Ensure high-quality delivery and outcomes across training programs and courses by recruiting, evaluating, and coordinating with instructors; conducting class observations; providing instructor feedback; monitoring participant progress; supporting attendance and course completion; and organizing graduation or completion activities.
  • Build and maintain employer and workforce partnerships with homeowners, contractors, subcontractors, businesses, unions, community colleges, training institutions, government agencies, and other community partners to expand quality training and job opportunities for members.
  • Conduct labor market analyses and community needs assessments to identify employment opportunities and training priorities by geographic area, and use findings to improve program services.
  • Seek job placement opportunities by identifying individualized opportunities, cultivating employer relationships, supporting members through job searches and placement, and engaging in education and advocacy for quality working conditions, fair wages, and accommodations.
  • Develop, coordinate, and maintain vocational training opportunities that prepare members for employment and career advancement, including hard or technical skills and soft skills.
  • Coordinate and support English for Speakers of Other Languages programming to strengthen members' English language skills for the workplace and increase access to training, employment, workplace communication, and career advancement.
  • Develop and implement outreach, recruitment, and marketing strategies with the Communications team to recruit members and employers, promote workforce development services, and coordinate employment campaigns, community events, and multilingual outreach.
  • Maintain accurate program, participant, membership, and financial records in approved organizational databases, including monitoring and reporting enrollment, attendance, training completion, job placement, and other outcomes; collecting and reconciling tuition and membership payments; and ensuring compliance with organizational data, quality, and audit standards.
  • Collaborate across departments and regions to ensure Workforce Development programming responds to member priorities and supports membership growth and community power.
  • Participate in the annual planning process, including helping develop programmatic goals, establishing individualized work-plan goals, and adhering to deadlines and work requirements.
  • Participate in organizational priorities, including coordinating with community organizers for organizing and mobilizing purposes.
  • Develop, establish, and coordinate training opportunities according to market demand.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
