Requirements
  • 4-6 years of experience in high-end residential architecture, construction, and/or owner's representation/project management.
  • A bachelor's degree.
  • Experience managing large-scale residential projects over $20 million.
  • Basic understanding of construction projects, particularly in residential development.
  • Experience with project budgets, schedules, invoices, and change orders.
  • Understanding of contract administration, vendor due diligence, and consultant management.
  • Proficiency with project management tools, customer relationship management software, and administrative platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving and risk management skills.
  • Ability to manage contracts, insurance tracking, and due diligence on consultants.
  • Strong communication skills for client and vendor interactions.
  • Strong quantitative skills and proficiency in Google Docs, Google Sheets, Microsoft Office, DocuSign, Adobe, and virtual meeting platforms.
  • Ability to learn quickly, work independently and as a team member, and prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a highly detailed, organized, and efficient manner.
  • High emotional intelligence and the ability to read a room and manage numerous personalities.
  • Ability to operate in an empathic, collaborative, and rigorous manner.
  • Ability to respond quickly to Peak team members, external team members, and clients.
Responsibilities
  • Assist the Owner’s Representative and Senior Owner’s Representative with managing clients and drafting client communications.
  • Read, negotiate, and execute all project-related contracts with the Owner’s Representative.
  • Assist the Owner’s Representative with conducting prospective architect and consultant due diligence.
  • Create comparison matrices for requests for quotations, nondisclosure agreements, questionnaires, and bid leveling.
  • Analyze recurring project issues, discuss them with the Owner’s Representative, and brainstorm solutions.
  • Draft and present comprehensive project status reports to the Owner’s Representative.
  • Draft and maintain the development budget and flag issues to the Owner’s Representative.
  • Assist the Owner’s Representative with reviewing invoices and pay applications.
  • Log and track certificates of insurance for all vendors and track expiration dates.
  • Analyze and understand complex change orders.
  • Manage and own all projects in Salesforce, including project setup, creation of project phases, and project structure.
  • Own all data entries related to each project.
  • Draft meeting agendas and minutes, schedule project meetings, and distribute approved minutes to the team.
  • Audit and organize all project files in the correct folders, use accurate names, and maintain version control.
