- Provide technical support, guidance, and hands-on delivery for planning, implementation, and ongoing operation of databases.
- Participate in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure.
- Ensure system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values and regulatory requirements.
- Document specifications, project plans, configurations, test plans, and results.
- Explain complex ideas, issues, and designs to varied audiences and communicate project objectives, scope, and status to project teams.
- Provide sustainment support, including engineering investigations, trade studies, supply chain management, and sustainment services.
- Develop and maintain lists, drawings, material specifications, process specifications, and software specifications.
- Develop, implement, and maintain a Failure Reporting and Analysis and Corrective Action System for data collection and failure reporting.
- Prepare configuration items, including Engineering Change Proposals, Requests for Waiver, Notices of Revisions, and Specification Change Notices.
- Prepare Preliminary Engineering Change Proposals for equipment and software changes.
- Develop, implement, and maintain a risk management process to identify and evaluate program risks.
- Protect critical information concerning intentions, capabilities, operations, and activities that adversaries or competitors might use to cause mission failure or unacceptable consequences.
- Provide input for monthly reporting and deliverables.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the program manager or through technical instructions and contract requirements.
