- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Basic Life Support/Healthcare Provider certification must be obtained within three months of hire.
- Transport bed, stretcher, and wheelchair patients safely and professionally while following HIPAA and handoff compliance requirements.
- Use two patient identifiers for every patient in accordance with The Joint Commission patient-safety regulations.
- Order and receive weekly radiology supplies.
- Pick up and deliver requisitions, specimens, and other materials within the facility.
- Assist with stocking and cleaning rooms and put supplies away correctly.
- Report faulty equipment, hazardous conditions, and incidents to a supervisor for follow-up.
- Return equipment to its designated storage area and maintain transport equipment.
- Clean, deodorize, and disinfect equipment as needed.
- Maintain oxygen and suction supplies as required by the facility.
- Use all corporate radiology computer systems effectively and accurately.
- Deliver mail between departments as needed.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance consistent with applicable policies and standards.
- Maintain compliance with organizational policies and procedures, department guidelines, and education requirements.
- Attend meetings and in-service training as required.
- Maintain the knowledge and skill level necessary to provide care appropriate to patients’ ages and statuses.
- Maintain professional growth.

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute has opened a new 31,000-square-foot facility at Orlando Health Institute Square in St. Petersburg, expanding cancer care access in Pinellas County. The location at 725 6th Ave South features 18 private exam rooms, 47 infusion chairs and on-site PET/CT imaging. The facility offers advanced treatments including bispecific therapies and clinical trial participation, with plans to expand outpatient cell therapy programmes. Six board-certified medical oncologists and haematologists, supported by four advanced practice practitioners, provide care through a collaborative, patient-centred model. The opening represents a hospital-specialty collaboration aimed at bringing complex therapies closer to patients' homes.
