Requirements
  • Proven work experience as a tax accountant or tax analyst
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external parties
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
  • CPA and/or Master’s degree in Taxation is preferred
Responsibilities
  • Assist with federal, state, and local tax returns preparations for the Company and its subsidiaries including but not limited to income taxes, franchise taxes, property taxes
  • Respond to and resolve requests and notices from governmental agencies and tax authorities regarding tax inquiries, audits and appeals.
  • Assist with federal and state extension requests and estimated tax payments
  • Help with preparation and distribution of tax forms to partners, shareholders, tax authorities.
  • Organize and keep track of all tax information for the company and its subsidiaries, e.g. tax due dates, tax returns files, tax notices, status etc.
  • Prepare and coordinate tax payments to ensure timeliness and accuracy
  • Perform monthly reconciliation of tax related balance sheet accounts
  • Assist with year end tax provision, tax schedules and tax disclosure preparation
  • Coordinate and liaise with external tax advisors and auditors
  • Perform other accounting and tax duties as assigned
