Compensation Overview

We are looking for a Summer 2024 Accounting Analyst Intern to join our Revenue Accounting organization based out of our Santa Clara office. In this role, you will assist the Revenue Accounting Team by applying accounting principles to monitor the completeness and accuracy of revenue for rebates, royalties, e-commerce and service arrangements. We challenge our interns to learn and to apply classroom concepts to real-life scenarios. Key to success will be your attention to details, effective communication and collaboration. As an integral member of the Revenue Accounting Team, you will be responsible for providing relevant financial information that is both insightful and actionable and enables NVIDIA’s senior leaders to make effective business decisions. This is a role for a high-energy individual who can adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and is capable of performing multiple functions.

What you’ll be doing:

• Support monthly financial close processes, including account reconciliations and journal entry postings

• Obtain exposure to the SAP ERP system to generate reports, create invoices, perform reconciliations, etc.

• Review various types of rebate offerings to ensure the accuracy of accrual entries

• Evaluate material rights based on volume-based rebate agreements and determine revenue impact

• Digest and assess large data sets related to partner-based cloud gaming to reconcile customer reporting and process invoices

• Delve into license and development arrangement agreements and process invoices per contract terms

What we need to see:

• Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent program

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Strong financial and revenue accounting knowledge, attention to detail and a high sense of accountability

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

This position is great for an accounting student who is detail oriented and can effectively collaborate within the organization and enjoys working in a challenging and fast-paced environment.

The hourly rate for our interns is 16 USD - 88 USD. Our internship hourly rates are a standard pay determined based on the position and your location, year in school, degree, and experience.
