Requirements
  • Architecture or Interior Design degree, or relevant architecture, engineering, and construction industry experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a professional architecture, engineering, and construction firm environment.
  • Experience with Autodesk Revit and other Autodesk suite software on large-scale projects.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • In-office availability Monday through Friday during standard business hours.
  • Reliable on-site attendance at the assigned office location.
Responsibilities
  • Work with Aviation team designers throughout preliminary design, design development, construction documentation, construction administration, and project closeout phases for aviation and other firm-wide initiatives.
  • Provide BIM and Revit project kick-off leadership for project execution planning, model setup, and team setup direction.
  • Manage file transfers to consultant team members, clients, and contractors.
  • Supervise sheet setup to follow project standards.
  • Manage worksets and overall model setup.
  • Manage and verify compliance with project execution plan, firm standards, sheet setup, dimensions, annotation, and client standards.
  • Manage model health assessments and clash detection exercises.
  • Work with design consultants and contractor peers in a live/shared model environment.
  • Develop and implement best practices and workflows for Corgan offices, focusing on Revit, its extensions, and third-party tools.
  • Provide technical support, training, and development to architectural and interior design staff in the Aviation sector.
  • Develop and maintain tools, families, templates, and processes specific to the Aviation sector.
  • Lead integration of Revit products with other applications.
  • Establish and support workflows related to BIM, visualization, reality capture, construction administration, and computational design.
  • Create and manage content for the Aviation sector and large client programs.
Desired Qualifications
  • BIM end-user education experience.
  • Autodesk Forma, previously Autodesk Construction Cloud, experience.
  • Autodesk Certified Professional in Revit certification.
  • Experience creating computational design-based solutions and/or experience with energy modeling or other sustainable design technologies.
  • Experience with Newforma, SketchUp, Bluebeam, Rhino, Grasshopper, Python, Enscape, Twinmotion, Affinity, and/or building analysis tools.
