SAP FICO Consultant needed to join our team as a result of continuing growth with our client, here at VML Enterprise Solutions
The opportunity:
We are looking for candidates with experience working on client projects, including configuring and developing custom logic for SAP ECC resource planning ERP systems. You will be involved in designing, configuring and customising ECC to match client’s processes to manage orders through to financials.
Please note that this is a remote contractual position based in the UK.
What you’ll be doing:
- You will be experienced in working in a team with junior developers who may be working on a SAP ECC project for the first time, so mentoring will be required as well as responsibility for code review, ways of working etc.
- You will have a customer-first mindset, with the maturity and initiative to do what it takes to keep our clients happy, including some working at client locations. When our clients win – we win!
What we want from you:
- Have worked on OTC in the last 5 years with experience of AR and PCA in that time
- Experience designing, configuration, and implementation of SAP ECC solutions.
- Experience designing, configuring and implementing FI/CO modules.
- Deep understanding and experience with ABAP language and SAP development tools.
- Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, customizations, and enhancements for future reference and audits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Finance, and Operations, to align SAP solutions with business objectives.
- Strong experience as SAP FICO functional consultant & support consultant. (Nice to have debugging skills).
- Primary SAP Skillset: FI (AP, AR, GL, AA, BL, SL); CO (CCA, PCA, COPA).
- Thorough understanding of the relationship and integration points between all SAP modules (FI/CO, COPA, SD, MM).
- Working experience of Business and functional processes.
- Experience of full life cycle implementation in addition to integrating, customizing, configuring, document preparation, Data Migration through LSMW, prepared testing scripts, UAT, user training and support in SAP R/3 Financials & Controlling module.
- Retail Industrial experience.
- Understanding of Change Management Processes.
- Presentation and documentation skills.
