Requirements
  • Experience in early stage venture capital investing (Seed or Series A investments)
  • Good understanding of term-sheets, cap tables and financing rounds
  • Good communication skills – written and verbal – in French
  • A strong affinity for technology and for technology startups
  • Sound professional judgement
  • An entrepreneurial and self starter mindset, a hustling approach, a high level of autonomy and of ownership
  • A good knowledge of federal and provincial non-dilutive financing programs is a plus
Responsibilities
  • Supporting TandemLaunch portfolio companies in the development of curated investors funnels, providing introductions and connections
  • Assisting the CEOs of TandemLaunch portfolio companies in securing non dilutive funding, by offering guidance and support in navigating the available programs
  • Supporting the Managing Partners in the execution of the financing deals
  • Contributing to the expansion of TandemLaunch’s network of investors and investment partners
  • Continuously stay up to date on current technology and innovation trends
  • Proactively engage with communities to promote awareness of TandemLaunch’s mandate and generate potential leads for investment
  • Reviewing pitch decks and pitching new venture ideas externally
