Requirements
  • 12 Years with Bachelors in Science; 10 Years with Masters; 8 Years with PhD
  • Active Secret Clearance at the time of application
  • Ability to present findings and progress reports in a presentation format with leaders at various levels both in person and remote
  • Understanding of Cyber products for systems to include logging, vulnerability scanning, intrusion detection mechanisms, patching systems, anti virus and related processes
  • Understanding of operating systems for Linux
  • Understanding Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and configuration standards for DOD IA and IA-enabled devices/systems
  • Experience in cyber controls as they relate to ground stations (this will include common and uncommon mitigation strategies across a multi-platform system)
  • General understanding of network operations; assign IP address, hostname, DNS, NTP, etc
  • Upkeep of system configurations with proper configuration management
  • Security+ or equivalent certification
Responsibilities
  • reviewing, understanding and designing Red Hat Linux systems to address a wide range of infrastructure requirements
  • working with isolated computer networks
  • understanding of cyber controls, cyber mitigations, RMF artifacts and cyber testing techniques
  • understanding of automation for both Infrastructure as Code and cyber hardening/patching
