Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, or a bachelor's degree in any field plus one of the following certifications: CCSP, SecurityX, CASP+, CCNP Security, CISA, FITSP-O, GICSP, or SSCP.
  • Five years of experience developing software test plans and ensuring software meets functional requirements.
  • Secret clearance.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare comprehensive software test plans supporting GATES testing requirements.
  • Develop test scenarios for specified platforms and systems and link them to standard datasets containing representative cargo records with known data-format and content flaws.
  • Perform various GATES roles to functionally test the system.
  • Ensure the software meets functional requirements and conduct regression testing to verify that code changes do not negatively affect other operational requirements.
  • Document problems and issues in the Daily Update Report.
  • Assist with maintaining GATES training kits.
  • Support virtual, computer-based, and in-person training across the GATES mission.
  • Assist in developing course material and instructing the GATES hand-held terminal course, including device setup and configuration, cargo processing, and data transfer.
  • Assist in creating virtual and computer-based training.
  • Complete an After-Action Report after each event.
  • Prepare classroom and audiovisual equipment for training sessions.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Program Manager.

  • Experience using GATES, Integrated Booking System, Transportation Financial Management System, Transportation Coordinator's Automated Information For Movement System, Integrated Computerized Deployment System, Integrated Surface Distribution Data Cleansing Tool, Deployment Support System II, Munitions Transportation Management System, Army War Reserve Deployment System, or Distribution Standard System.
