ProSidian Seeks a Construction Layout Specialist  | Construction Alignment & Field Verification [PCBOCC0037036] for Program Support on a Exempt 1099 Contract: No Overtime Pay Basis Technical Element located CONUS - Pasco County Across The South East  Region supporting Pasco County in enhancing performance, resilience, and sustainability of its water, wastewater, and reclaimed water systems through comprehensive engineering, planning, environmental, and digital transformation services..

Seeking Construction Layout Specialist candidates with relevant Energy, Sustainability & Infrastructure Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Energy, Sustainability & Infrastructure Sector Clients such as PCBOCC.  This as a Technical Element or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Construction Alignment & Field Verification Functional Area Professional - Surveying Position; however, ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position.

JOB OVERVIEW

Provide services and support as a Surveying (Construction Layout Specialist ) in the Energy, Sustainability & Infrastructure Industry Sector focusing on Environmental Services Solutions for clients such as Pasco County Board of County Commissioners (PCBOCC) | Pasco County Utilities Generally Located In CONUS - Pasco County and across the South East  Region (Of Country/World).

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES - Construction Layout Specialist  | Construction Alignment & Field Verification [PCBOCC0037036]

• Perform construction layout and staking for in-house utility installations and CIP support.; Verify horizontal/vertical alignment and provide documentation for as-builts.; Collaborate with engineers and inspectors to ensure conformance with design drawings.

Qualifications

Desired Qualifications For Construction Layout Specialist  | Construction Alignment & Field Verification [PCBOCC0037036] (PCBOCC0037036) Candidates:

• Technical diploma or Associate degree in Construction Surveying, Civil Engineering Tech, or related.

Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications

• 3–6 years in construction layout for public works or utility projects.

Skills Required

• Total station/GPS, blueprint reading, CAD interpretation, layout documentation.

Competencies Required

• Precision, field judgment, safety awareness, coordination with contractors.

Ancillary Details Of The Roles

• Perform cut-and-fill calculations for grade verification.
• Support field QA/QC teams with layout compliance checks.

Other Details

• Essential for ensuring design execution and post-construction documentation accuracy.
