Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, natural science, or medical related field
  • 3 – 5 years managing multiple associates in a complex environment
  • Minimum of five to seven years of inventory management experience
  • Extensive knowledge of medical/surgical supplies
  • Knowledge of MMIS, preferably Lawson, Epic, Par Excellence or other related inventory system
Responsibilities
  • Establishes, implements, and administers department goals, objectives, policies, procedures, new programs and services
  • Maintains a competent and motivated staff through appropriate selection, training, discipline, feedback, and termination of subordinate personnel as needed
  • Acts as a role model for organization values and behaviors; communicates mission, vision, and values
  • Ensures cost effective operation of all assigned areas while assisting with appropriate budget preparation, monitoring, and controlling of assigned department inventory expenses
  • Interacts frequently with physicians, nurses, department managers, supervisors, and other professional and nonprofessional staff members to provide Supply Chain Management inventory services
Desired Qualifications
  • Master’s degree or working toward a Master’s degree is preferred for advancement
  • RN preferred – especially in an operating room environment
  • 7 or more years’ experience in Supply Chain Operations
  • In-depth knowledge of Perioperative/Cath Lab/ Interventional Radiology operations
