Requirements
  • Electric Motors - Single/Three phase Induction, Universal, PMDC, and Brushless DC.
  • Motor Controls—Create systems to efficiently start and stop electric motors, promoting safety, high reliability, and durability.
  • Documentation – Ability to create electrical schematics to aid in assembly and troubleshooting.
  • Communication – Work with internal team members and external vendors to improve existing and develop new products.
  • Testing – Create rigorous test protocols that validate system reliability.
  • Regulatory – Work with the manufacturing team and third-party agencies, i.e., UL/ CSA, to assure compliance with current requirements. (UL1450, C22.2 NO.68)
  • Ability to meet attendance standards. All full-time employees are required to work a 40-hour week. Sometimes, it may be necessary to work additional hours to accomplish the required tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to use Mechanical intuition with strong “hands-on” experience.
  • Ability to follow safety and security practices, maintain confidentiality of certain information and meet deadlines and effectively deal with office stress.
  • Creativity, initiative, and problem-solving skills are a must.
  • Must have Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written skills.

  • Engineering design of electrical components, assemblies, and products.
  • Perform complex calculations as required to validate a design.
  • Create test protocols for Electro-Mechanical design validation.
  • UL, ETL, CSA Standards compliance.
