Requirements
  • Must have a current registered nurse license in good standing in the state where the clinician will practice.
  • Must have at least 1 year of hands-on nursing experience.
  • Must be able to travel to patients’ homes in the designated territory.
  • Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and pass a motor vehicle record check.
  • Must hold current cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Must be willing to supervise caregivers providing care to infants, children, adolescents, and/or adults.
Responsibilities
  • Perform internal case management, evaluation, education, and development of nursing talent.
  • Participate in transitioning patients from facilities to their homes through start-of-care assessments and reevaluations.
  • Review physicians’ orders and update plans of care and documentation as necessary.
  • Assist with selecting, training, and validating new clinical staff.
  • Promote and enhance staff clinical expertise to provide safe, quality nursing care.
  • Collaborate with the operations and business development teams.
  • Ensure adherence to state, federal, and local regulations and company policies and procedures.
  • Develop, mentor, and provide professional guidance to field staff during patient-home visits.

Aveanna Healthcare secures California rate increase after four-year fight, revenue climbs 13.7% to $670M

Aveanna Healthcare reported 13.7% year-over-year revenue growth to approximately $670 million in its second quarter, with all three divisions expanding. CEO Jeffrey Shaner announced California's 2027 budget will include a paediatric private duty nursing rate increase effective 1 January 2027, concluding a four-year advocacy effort spanning all 32 of Aveanna's private duty states. The company secured seven state rate enhancements by second quarter and added three preferred payer agreements, bringing the total to 37 covering 64% of managed care volume. Adjusted EBITDA rose 8% to $95.4 million. However, private duty services revenue per hour increased only 1.7% to $44.62, whilst cost per hour jumped 7.8% to $31.74. The company raised full-year guidance to more than $2.68 billion in revenue and more than $365 million in adjusted EBITDA.

Aveanna Healthcare shareholders launch secondary offering of 15M shares

Aveanna Healthcare Holdings announced that certain selling stockholders, including affiliates of J.H. Whitney Equity Partners VII and current and former directors and officers, have commenced a secondary offering of 15 million shares of common stock. The underwriter has a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 2.25 million shares. The selling stockholders will receive all net proceeds from the offering. Aveanna is not offering any shares and will not receive any proceeds from the sale. RBC Capital Markets will serve as the sole book-running manager for the offering. Aveanna Healthcare raises 2026 guidance after Q1 revenue jumps 16% to $648M

Aveanna Healthcare Holdings has reported strong Q1 2026 results, with revenue reaching $647.9 million, up 15.9% year-over-year.
