Requirements
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Five years of experience with BIT inspections is required.
- Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems is required.
- The ability to pass safety training examinations and the required background check is required.
- The role requires a safety-focused, conscientious, dependable, and quality-minded approach.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair diesel trucks ranging from tractors and trailers to medium-duty trucks.
- Maintain and repair the mounted contractor equipment contained on vehicles.
- Document preventive maintenance efforts as required to achieve compliance with Department of Transportation regulations.
Desired Qualifications
- A commercial driver's license is preferred.
- A commercial driver's license with an air-brake endorsement is preferred within 90 days if not already held.
