Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives, ensuring cost-effectiveness, reliability, and sustainability of the supply chain.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and agreements to ensure high-quality products/services at competitive prices.
  • Oversee the negotiation, drafting, and management of contracts with suppliers, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements while mitigating risks to the company.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction within the supply chain, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and streamline procurement processes.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing procurement team, providing guidance, training, and support to drive professional growth and ensure departmental success.
  • Proactively assess and mitigate risks related to procurement activities, including supply chain disruptions, geopolitical factors, and market volatility, to safeguard business continuity.
  • Ensure adherence to ethical standards, corporate policies, and regulatory requirements in all procurement activities, fostering a culture of integrity and transparency within the department.
  • Develop and manage the procurement budget, tracking expenditures, identifying variances, and implementing cost-saving initiatives to optimize resource allocation.
