Senior Software Engineer

• Empower customers to use Generative AI to enrich and personalize every step in the shopper’s e-commerce journey.
• Provide a seamless process for customers to set up their Generative Shopping Experience implementation.

Team members have different skill sets, covering the full stack of our AI offering, from the machine learning evaluation to the front-end Dashboard of our customers. Your experience, your knowledge and your perspective will add value to this diversity, and help the team deliver products that make a difference.

We are looking for a Back-end Engineer to grow our Generative Shopping Experience team. As a backend engineer, we expect you to bring good experience acquired from a similar role in a former job.This also means you are expected to ramp up on the project to meet its objectives, lead on topics and coordinate with the other team members to deliver them.

YOUR ROLE WILL CONSIST OF:

• Designing and maintaining the pipeline and APIs of the GSE products within the ecosystem of Algolia.
• Be responsible for the quality, soundness of the system.
• Work within the team to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve high impact issues.

YOU MIGHT BE A FIT IF YOU HAVE:

• Experience in a cross-functional team
• Experience working with APIs at scale
• Rigor in high code quality, automated testing, and other engineering best practices
• Good spoken and written English skills
• Preference for candidates with experience at our current stage and beyond (over 10,000 customers, $50-200M ARR range, high growth, lots of change and building internal infrastructure).
