What believers are saying

  • Granby construction, announced September 23, 2024, expands capacity for labels and flexible packaging.
  • l’Empreinte and Litho Québec broaden Labelink into cartons, commercial print, and publishing.
  • Labelink’s 390 employees and 3,000 customers create cross-sell leverage across North America.

What critics are saying

  • Acquisition integration across 13 plants strains quality, systems, and customer retention through 2026.
  • Granby’s $15 million plant demands volume growth fast, or returns collapse by 2027.
  • Private-equity-style consolidation in labels rewards scale; a failed deal cadence breaks Labelink’s growth story.

What makes Labelink unique

  • Labelink runs 13 plants across Canada and the U.S. after Litho Québec, April 2026.
  • Its 15th acquisition, l’Empreinte on September 8, 2025, adds folding cartons and direct mail.
  • Brad Miller became U.S. president in April 2025, sharpening cross-border acquisition execution.
