  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering (or STEM) with 2 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master’s degree with 0 years of related engineering experience
  • Demonstrate ability to learn and integrate new programming languages based off previous experience
  • Must be willing to obtain and maintain a U.S DoD Government clearance
  • Experience with any of the following Microsoft Visio, National Instruments LabView
  • Experience with hardware or software testing and test scripting
  • Minimum of five years of directly related experience in EMI/EMC test
  • Advanced understanding of RF measurement instruments (Spectrum analyzers, EMI receivers, network analyzers, power meters, etc)
  • Experience in Electronics troubleshooting, RF test configuration testing, Environments testing (Vibration Analysis/Thermal Vacuum chamber testing)
  • Programming experience with any of the following languages: Python, C, C++
  • Experience in Aerospace or Defense industry (development or test)
Responsibilities
  • General frequent use and application of technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques​
  • Develop EMI test procedures, specifications, and test limits
  • Execute EMI testing, monitor EMI tests per specification, troubleshoot, and document all test activities
  • Demonstrates the skill and ability to perform moderately complex professional tasks​
  • Understands NG test engineering practices and principles​
  • Understands both electrical circuits and software within the flight hardware and EGSE​
  • Supports EGSE and flight hardware test/troubleshooting efforts and ability to perform this tasking with little to no oversight from another Electrical Engineer​
  • Fully grasps escalation plan when test errors are encountered and understands when to proceed per NG/program process. Participates in anomaly resolution process while offering technical solutions for FRB approval.​
  • Travel and support different shifts when required​
  • Provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of increasing scope and complexity as assigned​
  • Has technical insight and experience to know if test set-up and results make sense​
  • Ability to establish and maintain infrequent inter-organizational and outside customer contacts on routine matters.​
  • Coordinates with ITEE team lead, electrical technicians, and I&T managers to complete tasking. May participate, prepare, and present material in program review boards (PDRs, CDRs, TRRs, FRBs, etc).​​
