Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience planning a range of events for multiple audiences in a fast-paced environment (preferably at a technology company)
  • Experience working in both digital and in-person event environments, with in-depth knowledge incorporating event experiences into the buyer's journey to generate demand
  • Experience partnering closely with Sales and Customer Success teams to develop strategies and track metrics for events, such as trade-shows, CXO roundtables, workshops, etc
  • Demonstrable experience working with and analyzing data from customer databases like Hubspot
  • A wealth of event planning knowledge and comfortability executing the soup-to-nuts details for a variety of event formats, small and large
  • Experience developing, editing, and evolving content for speakers at the events
  • Established relationships with event vendors and agencies
  • A passion for transforming brand principles into real-life experiences
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to work long but fulfilling 9 to 11 hour days
Responsibilities
  • Produce in-person and virtual events (including third party and Northspyre-led events) from concept through completion: identify opportunities, define strategy and goals, assemble project teams, manage vendors, source diverse speakers and audiences, create run-books, incorporate data-driven insights, and measure results - some events may be as simple as happy hours whereas others may be as complex as a conference
  • Potentially travel multiple times per month across the United States - willingness to travel from 25% -75% of the time in any given month
  • Work in close partnership with the head of marketing and the other parts of the marketing, sales, and customer success team in alignment with broader strategy goals for the product and go to market teams
  • Leverage events to drive new leads, nurture existing ones, and bring our reach to new markets
  • Focus on measurable results - number of attendees, converted leads, etc.-- to constantly optimize and develop our roster of events based on actionable insights from data
  • Develop new event ideas, concepts, processes, and formats, ensuring consistency and creativity throughout all event touch points and locations
  • Lead events and webinars with the ability to pitch and explain Northspyre to existing and prospecting customers in a compelling, engaging way
