Requirements
  • Broad knowledge of scheduling, project controls, and project management offices (PMO's)
  • Able to develop scheduling specifications, procedures, and policies such as baseline policies and scheduling specifications for contracts
  • Able to perform gap analysis, identify benchmarks and best practices, engage stakeholders, and develop action plans to mature a client's scheduling function with their PMO
  • Prepare time-impact analyses (TIA's) and provide claims mitigation support
  • Familiar with the PMBOK and PMO structures in various industries
  • Familiar with the scheduling programs including P6 desktop, P6 EPPM, Oracle Primavera Cloud, and MS Project
  • Ability to coach, mentor, and train others in the pursuit of excellence
  • Strong understanding of project management, project controls, and/or construction management principles. PMP certification desired
  • At least 15 years of work experience in the project or program management discipline
  • Requires 5+ years of managerial experience
  • Requires at least a bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, engineering, construction management, or similar field. Master's degree desired
  • Strong communications skills, including the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety guidelines, permits, contacts, procedure manuals, job aids, and technical reports
  • Ability to write routine reports, correspondence, meeting minutes, work plans, job aids, policies, procedures, and presentations
  • Ability to speak effectively in front of groups
  • Ability to take a leadership role in promoting safety and security procedures, determine appropriate action beyond guidelines and report potentially unsafe conditions
  • Ability to apply strong interpersonal, political, and management skills to take accountability for AND drive successful completion of project deliverables from both internal and external project team members
  • Strong commitment to quality, attention to detail, and proven ability to lead teams
Responsibilities
  • Selling consulting services to existing and new clients
  • Developing and managing strategic business partnerships and client relationships
  • Ensures consulting services are delivered with excellence through quality control and quality assurance measures
  • Performs client satisfaction surveys to collect feedback, identify gaps and improve services
  • Responsible for business volume, through add-on and new-client sales and delivering a projects or engagements
  • Oversees the hiring, onboarding, and offboarding of employees and contractors while maximizing resource utilization and profitability
  • Ensures all direct reports receive training, mentorship, and supervision to ensure high employee engagement
  • Provide general supervisory duties for direct reports, including annual reviews, monthly coaching sessions, and career planning
  • Contributes to the strategic planning and future direction of the Company with the Leadership
  • Provide input to the leadership team on process, personnel, strategy, and business development issues
  • Known for domain expertise and can generate work for themselves and others
