- Strong hands-on experience in enterprise and operational technology networking within manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Strong knowledge of local area networks, wide area networks, virtual local area networks, routing, switching, redundancy, firewalls, secure connectivity, and network segmentation.
- Experience with industrial demilitarized-zone architecture, high-availability network design, and operational technology cybersecurity practices.
- Experience supporting plant-floor, automation, edge-connected systems, and industrial network connectivity.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for high-availability production environments.
- A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or commensurate work experience.
- At least 10 years of progressive network engineering experience.
- Experience supporting operational technology, industrial, or manufacturing network environments.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise networking and secure network design.
- Experience troubleshooting complex network issues in high-availability environments.
- Experience supporting deployments, maintenance windows, cutovers, and operational support activities.
- Experience with industrial or manufacturing wireless networking.
- English-language proficiency.
- Serve as the onsite network engineer for operational technology initiatives.
- Lead the deployment and adoption of operational technology network infrastructure.
- Support the design and implementation of secure, resilient network architectures for industrial and manufacturing environments.
- Ensure operational technology cybersecurity requirements are incorporated into network solutions, including segmentation, industrial demilitarized zones, and access-control practices.
- Provide escalation support for network incidents and coordinate issue resolution with internal teams and vendors.
- Assist with network standards, implementation practices, and documentation for operational technology environments.
- Mentor and train local information technology support teams and operational staff on operational technology network fundamentals and troubleshooting.
- Contribute to project planning, cutovers, maintenance activities, and operational readiness.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business and production requirements into effective network solutions.
- Familiarity with automation, controls, or industrial systems networking.
- Experience supporting large-scale operational technology network deployments or plant modernization.
- Certified Cisco Network Associate, Certified Cisco Network Professional, Certified Information Systems Security Professional, or other networking/security certifications.
