Requirements
  • Student working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, Operations Management/Business Administration, or a related field for entire duration of internship.
  • GPA of 3.0 or greater
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain a positive, professional working relationship with all customers.
  • Responsible for supporting Quality Department Staff.
  • Review and update quality documentation.
  • Actively participate in group and team meetings.
  • Communicate with suppliers and internal teams to correct and prevent quality issues.
  • Assist in problem solving and implementing solutions to quality related problems.
  • Assist staff with the disposition of defective material.
  • Participate in quality audits internally and externally.
  • Assist in supplier quality and process control.
  • Report and respond to quality process nonconformance issues in an expedient manner.
  • Work inter-functionally with Quality and Manufacturing to resolve quality related issues.
  • Must exhibit the ability to proactively complete assigned tasks.
  • Travel as required.
  • Must be willing to complete additional advanced training/educational courses as required.
  • Accurately maintain company records and documents in accordance with policies and procedures.
