Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in one of: external audit / assurance (Big 4 or similar), or payment / finance operations at a fintech, bank, or fast-growing startup
  • Strong comfort with numbers and exceptional attention to detail paired with an hands-on execution based mindset
  • A genuine sense of ownership; you chase loose ends until they're fully resolved
  • Solid stakeholder management: you can hold a partner to account, collaborate cross-functionally, and communicate clearly with senior management
  • Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills; SQL experience (or a real appetite to learn it quickly) is a strong plus
  • Interest in process improvement, automation, and using AI tooling to make finance processes more efficient
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Dubai
Responsibilities
  • Own monthly & quarterly reconciliation of expected versus actual funding movements across multiple currency corridors, identifying and documenting genuine discrepancies
  • Investigate missing, partial, or mismatched settlements
  • Manage escalations with banking and disbursement partners, and collaborate closely with respective TaptapSend teams
  • Maintain data integrity across our financial systems and source records
  • Support senior leadership with clear, well-supported analysis on fund reconciliation and balance sheet
  • Drive process improvement and automation; helping build scalable reconciliation infrastructure rather than relying on manual workarounds
