Requirements
  • A BA/BS and 4 years of experience in an administrative or business field, or an AA and 6 years of experience in an administrative or business field, or a high school diploma or equivalent and 10 years of experience in an administrative or business field.
  • Three years of experience executing and leading tasks associated with mid-executive-level or general administrative support in all facets of administration.
  • Expertise preparing, reviewing, and coordinating executive-level correspondence.
  • Expertise in Controlled Unclassified Information, For Official Use Only, and classified information handling programs and procedures.
  • Expertise in training and advising junior administrative assistants on administrative support matters.
  • Expertise in government records and database management processes and procedures.
  • Expertise in government travel processes and systems.
  • Expertise in developing and maintaining administrative schedules, including electronic schedules and calendars.
  • Expertise in government correspondence handling procedures.
  • Proficiency working with government task management systems.
  • Proficiency researching, reviewing, and preparing meeting support materials, including briefings, papers, and read-aheads.
  • Proficiency working with government time-management procedures and systems.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication skills, including phone, office etiquette, and written communication.
  • DoD Secret or higher security clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, satisfactory background screening, negative drug test, positive references, proof of identity, and legal authorization to work in the United States.

  • Support the in-processing of Functional Matrix staff.
  • Serve as a Command Suite receptionist.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Work independently or lead teams to solve problems.
  • Provide daily supervision and direction to support teams.
