Requirements
- Five or more years of experience in construction, including at least two years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
- Proficiency in construction management software such as Procore, Buildertrend, or Microsoft Project.
- OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical examination, drug screening, background check, and reference check.
- Proof of U.S. citizenship or legal right to work in the United States.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around a construction site for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Support the Project Superintendent in overseeing on-site operations for commercial construction projects, including office buildings, retail spaces, medical facilities, warehouses, and mixed-use developments.
- Support all field activities, coordinate subcontractors and vendors, enforce safety protocols, and help ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
- Supervise daily field work, coordinate trades, and track project schedules.
- Lead weekly safety meetings, enforce Occupational Safety and Health Administration rules, and complete hazard logs.
- Maintain daily work logs, update project drawings, and track issues.
- Inspect workmanship and manage punch lists through final closeout.
- Connect field crews, subcontractors, and project managers to resolve problems quickly.
