Who we’re looking for 

Toyota’s OneTech Manufacturing Tech Services Department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated  DevOps Engineer – Cloud Infrastructure Support. 

The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated deployment pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and system monitoring solutions to support Siemens MOM (Manufacturing Operations Management) and other enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CI/CD automation, infrastructure-as-code, and cloud operations, along with the ability to work closely with development and IT operations teams.

Reporting to the Applications Manager, the person in this role will support the Manufacturing Tech Services department to ensure high availability, scalability, and security across development, testing, and production environments.

What you’ll be doing

• CI/CD Pipeline Management

  • Design, implement, and maintain automated build and deployment pipelines for Siemens MOM and related manufacturing applications.

  • Manage source control, branching strategies, and release automation.

  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD workflows to improve deployment reliability.

• Infrastructure & Environment Management

  • Provision, configure, and manage cloud and on-premises infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools.

  • Ensure systems are highly available, resilient, and secure for manufacturing operations.

  • Manage containerized workloads using Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.

• Monitoring & Incident Response

  • Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.

  • Work with manufacturing IT to ensure minimal downtime in production systems.

• Security & Compliance

  • Apply security best practices to pipelines, infrastructure, and access control.

  • Ensure compliance with corporate security policies and regulatory requirements.

• Collaboration & Documentation

  • Work closely with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to align DevOps practices.

  • Document deployment procedures, infrastructure configurations, and operational runbooks.

• Key Competencies

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

  • Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

  • Proactive approach to automation and continuous improvement

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• 3+ years of DevOps or infrastructure automation experience.

• Proficiency with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar).

• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Added bonus if you have

• Experience with Siemens MOM, OpCenter, or other MES platforms.

• Familiarity with manufacturing IT environments.

• Experience in automotive or battery manufacturing industries.
