Requirements
- Demonstrable track record of technical pre-sales experience, with professional services or architecture experience a plus
- Experience for this position is typically gained by proven and recurring success in a similar role working for a vendor or a distributor
- Broad and deep understanding of security, networking, authentication, and Internet fundamentals
- Strong understanding of how to navigate large partner organizational structures
- Experience working across a broad set of partner types and sizes highly desirable
- Experience building technical champions that influence partner direction and positive business outcomes for our partners, Zscaler, and our joint customers
- Demonstrated ability to conceptualize & implement managed services across multiple partner types
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute on large, complex SaaS solution opportunities
- Experience managing executive-level relationships
- A flair for presenting complex technical topics in an engaging and understandable fashion is highly desirable
- Minimum Education: Bachelor of Science degree and/or equivalent work experience
- Travel 25% to support partner engagements, industry events, and internal development
- Experience working within 3-tier channels or directly with distribution highly desirable
- Native/Bilingual English capability + one other European language highly desirable
Responsibilities
- Providing technical leadership, influence, and guidance to our distribution community with a focus on Zscaler's Distribution and Distribution Partner relationships
- Assisting Distribution in building a robust practice with Zscaler, through the use of education, co-selling activities, partner labs, and service offering creation
- Working closely with both Zscaler field teams and partner alignment and joint account engagement
- Educating our partners via consumption of our training classes and materials, architecture workshops, and other awareness activities with an emphasis on the outcomes those activities can drive
- Representing the voice of the partner to provide product feedback, enhancements, and integrations to product teams through participation in executive briefings, partner technical advisory boards, and early product access
