Requirements
- An active TS/SCI security clearance with Full-Scope Polygraph eligibility is required; CI Poly or CCA is accepted while awaiting Full-Scope Polygraph adjudication.
- A bachelor's degree in Language, Area Studies, Education, Instructional Systems Design, Intelligence, or a related field is required, or four additional years of relevant practical experience may substitute for the degree, for a total of nine years of experience.
- At least one year of Instructional Systems Design experience within the last four years is required, including synchronous and asynchronous methods and adult instruction using web-based tools such as Centra, Blackboard, Questionmark, or SumTotal.
- Native-level proficiency and a minimum ILR level 4 in Spanish reading, listening, and speaking, with ILR level 2 in English, are required; alternatively, native English proficiency with ILR level 2 or higher in Spanish reading and listening is accepted, with proficiency documented within the last five years.
- Five years of experience as a language analyst are required, including three years in SIGINT or Intelligence Community roles and at least one year developing or updating training materials in line with Instructional Systems Design principles.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities
- Clarify and document operational requirements, training objectives, and material scope.
- Prioritize training-development requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Conduct research using classified and unclassified resources to source authentic Spanish-language content.
- Develop training materials covering transcription, translation, and analysis of operational exercises.
- Collaborate with instructors, government personnel, and contractor teams to produce domain-specific training content.
- Use Audacity, Adobe Creative Suite, and Adobe Premiere to create blended learning experiences.
- Design and implement practical evaluations to measure student mastery of objectives.
- Recommend tools and applications to enhance training effectiveness.
- Design, develop, and deliver cryptologic training programs aligned with NSA/CSS and Department of Defense standards.
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency with training technologies and e-learning platforms.
- Experience with blended learning and immersive training design for linguists.
- Prior NSA, Department of Defense, or Intelligence Community training-development experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in SIGINT operations and mission-readiness training.
