Requirements
  • The candidate must have excellent analytical abilities and be able to communicate conclusions clearly.
  • The candidate must have advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and formulas, and strong financial modeling skills.
  • The candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • The candidate must work independently and demonstrate rigor.
  • The candidate must have a team-oriented and collaborative approach.
  • The candidate must have good English proficiency in reading and writing.
  • The candidate must have a university degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • The candidate must have at least five years of experience in a similar role.
  • The candidate must be authorized to work in Canada.
  • The position does not provide work visa sponsorship or work permit transfers.
Responsibilities
  • Participate in preparing, analyzing, and monitoring monthly financial reports, the annual budget, and forecasts for the income statement and cash flow.
  • Analyze variances against the budget and forecasts.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards containing various SaaS key performance indicators required for the monthly close process.
  • Prepare analyses required for external or internal audit files.
  • Prepare various analytical and management reports, including sales reports and customer revenue reports.
  • Monitor operational-level dashboards and performance indicators.
  • Participate in optimizing processes related to the various financial systems.
  • Respond to ad hoc requests from managers.
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Business Central and/or Workday Adaptive is an asset.
  • Knowledge of artificial intelligence tools to support financial analysis and reporting is an asset.
  • A recognized professional designation, such as CPA or equivalent, is an asset.
  • French proficiency is an asset.
