Requirements
  • Proven experience managing a team of application administrators and application DBAs
  • Experience working with end users to ensure quality of service delivery

  • Experience working with application vendors to implement new systems and resolve technical issues
  • Experience instrumenting and monitoring Enterprise COTS Applications
  • Experience working with a Software Development Life Cycle including change management
  • Experience performing capacity planning
  • Experience with Windows & Linux Server operating systems
Responsibilities
  • Manage on-call schedule and ensure cross training of team members
  • Oversee knowledge management and buildout of knowledge-base to aid in support and troubleshooting
  • Coordinate technical details for product upgrades and provide status updates to management
Desired Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in a COTS application support manager role
  • Proven experience leading a COTS application support operation for large-scale enterprises
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Any relevant industry or technology certifications a plus
  • Tibco EMS, EDI and Business works a plus
