Requirements
  • One to five years of experience in multifamily construction is preferred, although entry-level candidates with relevant internships are encouraged to apply.
  • Understanding of construction means, methods, and sequencing.
  • Proficiency with project management software such as Procore, Primavera P6, or Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with reading and interpreting construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently.
  • Working knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration safety regulations.
  • Ability to visit active construction sites, including walking on uneven terrain, climbing ladders or stairs, and working in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including a hard hat, safety glasses, and steel-toe boots.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in developing and managing project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Prepare, track, and process submittals, requests for information, and change orders.
  • Review construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents for accuracy and constructability.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Support procurement efforts, including issuing purchase orders and tracking material logs.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, verify work quality, and ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, meeting minutes, and photo logs.
  • Assist with quantity takeoffs and cost estimating for change orders and project modifications.
  • Support the Project Manager with project budgets, forecasting, and cost reporting.
  • Help enforce job-site safety protocols and ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration and company safety standards.
  • Coordinate quality control and quality assurance processes and inspections.
  • Assist with closeout activities, including punch lists, as-built drawings, and operation and maintenance manual compilation.
  • Communicate with internal teams, clients, architects, and engineers to resolve issues promptly.
Desired Qualifications
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
  • Engineer in Training certification.
  • Experience with scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
