- A Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering is required.
- At least 7 years of experience, including development and/or refinement of flight dynamics models; work with flight test data including flight test support and flight data analysis; and/or familiarity with aircraft performance, aerodynamic design, nonlinear system identification, and flight control system design and analysis.
- Excellent documentation and report writing skills are required.
- Knowledge of sound engineering practices, including areas such as requirements tracking, configuration control, technical communication, and the peer review process.
- Serve as the engineering lead supporting flight control system development, aircraft modeling and simulation, aircraft flight dynamics analysis, and ground and flight test support.
- Design, develop, integrate, and test aircraft flight control systems and autopilots.
- Develop, integrate, and validate models of aircraft flight dynamics and subsystems such as payloads, engines, transmissions, flight control components, and sensors.
- Support laboratory, ground, and flight qualification testing of aircraft avionics, sensors, and flight control systems.
- Mentor more junior engineers.
