Requirements
  • Industry knowledge: Deep familiarity with sell-side mechanics, e.g. how analysts evaluate and model public businesses
  • Outstanding communications skills: Ability to construct narratives and navigate external conversations, both real-time and written; proven track record of communicating with investors
  • Investor mindset: Acumen for analyzing businesses strategically (e.g. competitive landscape, moat) and financially (e.g. KPIs, business profile)

  • Engaged with the sell-side: Built strong ongoing relationships with analysts and banks, especially as we evaluate entering the public markets
  • Engaged with investors: Built strong ongoing relationships with institutional investors, both existing and prospective, and attracting long-term capital aligned with the Komodo story
  • Covered the market: Monitored movement in our strategic, financial, and regulatory landscape, and articulating to investors and employees how those shifts impact our business
  • Evaluated capital strategy: Evaluated strategic financing options across the debt and equity spectrum
