Responsibilities
- The Elevance Health Intern Program allows students to gain real-world work experience in their academic field. During the summer months, interns will engage in challenging projects evolving around the rapidly changing healthcare tech industry. Interns are paired with industry professionals and mentors and will be given opportunities to stretch their skills and enrich their knowledge base to achieve a greater understanding within technology
- Interns will apply technical knowledge and skills to performing meaningful work focused on leadership, and business acumen. Will perform work utilizing technologies and tools to solve complex business problems, innovating on potential future solutions, and working with technology to translate innovations into robust, scaled, solutions and actionable results
- Engineering Interns will be assigned to a specific group within Global Chief Information Office based on skill set and need of the business

Desired Qualifications
- Has develop advanced cloud platform integration system - EDS
- A background of Containerization, Docker containers and Micro Services
- Microservice Developer experience of at least one of the following tech stacks and willing to learn more: JAVA, Node JS, Angular, Python, AWS Scripts
- Foundational understanding of Terraform
- Foundational understanding of CI/CD develper tools like Tekton, OCP, Bamboo, bitbucket, Jenkins & Jira
- Foundational understanding on cloud native service like AWS EC2,S3, EKS, API Gateway, IAM, RDS, ELB, etc.,"
