Requirements
  • 5-10 years of quality assurance and quality control in a manufacturing environment
  • Bachelor's degree in agriculture, material science, food science, microbiology, mycology or equivalent
  • 3+ years of people management experience
  • Experience in regulated manufacturing processes such as food, pharma, or leather materials is a plus
  • Experience in liquid or solid fermentation manufacturing processes is a plus
  • Experience in RTE food or consumer products manufacturing is a plus
  • Good understanding of basic microbiology is a plus
  • Experience in developing quality management systems for manufacturing sites
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Data analysis, statistical methods, and data reporting
  • Managerial experience of a team
  • Positive thinking and good work ethic
  • Capability with MS Office / GSuite tools
  • Adaptability to fast manufacturing environment
  • Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally occasionally
Responsibilities
  • Ensuring manufacturing products and processes meet quality standards
  • Managing site quality management system
  • Driving quality system metrics implementation
  • Overseeing material testing
  • Developing and reviewing product/process specifications
  • Implementing environmental monitoring and sanitation program
  • Understanding customer needs for quality monitoring
  • Managing Quality team and talent development
  • Reporting quality performance regularly
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams on projects
  • Providing recommendations for product quality improvement
  • Executing project tasks as assigned
