Requirements
  • expertise in applied quantum technology research and development in a laboratory environment
  • skill in debugging and interpreting data from complex measurements
  • Expert-level knowledge in a combination of the following: data analysis, low noise measurement, software best-practices and deployment, cryogenic physics, quantum information, optimal control
  • Demonstrated experience scaling multi qubit systems and developing novel measurement techniques
  • Ph.D. and 8+ years of experience in Physics, Applied Physics, or Electrical Engineering with an emphasis on quantum devices or technologies
  • Must be able to climb ladders to use elevated test equipment
  • Must be able to work safely in a laboratory environment and be on-site at least 4 days a week
  • U.S. citizenship
  • Must have or be willing to apply for and maintain security clearance
Responsibilities
  • developing tools and methods to optimize and characterize multi-qubit-operation in quantum-dot-based spin qubit systems
  • mastering the operation of spin qubit devices to advance the state-of-the-art through collaboration with other project teams (e.g. software, theory, signal modeling, etc)
  • solving high-impact problems by maturing novel ideas and concepts to testable implementations
