We are looking to hire a QA Lead (including Functional, Automation testing) for BestX and GlobalLink Digital platform

• Candidate will be responsible for end to end QA execution from BestX and Global Link, India
• Candidate will responsible for managing, hiring, training, and mentoring a diverse team of QA engineers (functional and automation)
• Candidate will be managing delivery from multiple teams locally and reporting to matrix organization
• Responsible for building and improving efficiency of team, reducing the regression cycle time, upskilling, cross-skilling of team members
• Participate and contribute in driving the global QA strategy for Global Link under the guidance of global leadership
• Build a culture of finding creative solutions for complex software and business issues and apply these solutions to resolve problems
• Maintain/Improve existing UI, Server-Side and Integration testing frameworks/scripts.
• Strong knowledge on Selenium, Cypress with Java and API testing.
• Better understanding of Automation Objects and Integrations across various platforms/applications etc.
• Evaluate product functionality and create test strategies and identify performance tuning areas to assess product quality.
• Individual contributor exploring opportunities to improve performance and suggest/articulate the areas of improvements importance/advantages to management.
• Integrate with SCM infrastructure to establish a continuous build and test cycle using CICD tools.
• Comfortable working on Linux/Windows environment(s) and Hybrid infrastructure models.
• Establish processes and tools set to maintain automation scripts and generate regular test reports.
• Peer review to provide feedback and to make sure the test scripts are flaw-less.
• Must have hands on experience in performance testing and experience with performance test tools.

Core/Must have skills:

• Stakeholder management with ability to work with global teams and leading multiple QA teams of different sizes
• Proven experience in creating and driving the QA strategy for Enterprise / BU – While managing the present solutions with eyes on future
• Hands-on Experience in different automation strategy & tools with key focus on all automation paradigms (UI/ WhiteBox/GreyBox/Performance/API), Experience with automation tools (QTP, Selenium, UFT) and/or experience with Java or Perl programming
• Hands-on Experience in Performance testing strategies and performance testing tools.
• Experience with and understanding of databases (Oracle, SQL) along with familiarity of testing applications on different OS (Unix/Linux & Windows, iOS,Android)
• Experience in hiring correct right talent and building fungible teams that can deliver on multiple products.
• Experience in guiding teams on software Audit from Risk & compliance perspective.
• Strong understanding of distributed applications, asynchronous systems, messaging platforms and micro-services architecture.
• Work with QA Leads & stakeholders (Dev/Product) to define test strategy and research technologies and methodologies which will improve our test practices.
• Superior analytical and problem solving abilities with strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analysis skills
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle especially Agile methodologies
• Strong working knowledge of software build and release management processes such as maintaining QA environment would be a plus.
• Self-motivated, creative problem solver, organized, and responsible leader to bring in a good team culture
• Technical team management skills to lead technology teams with varied technology and functional delivery
• Ability to own the end-to-end responsibility and accountability for all QA delivery from India.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to learn new technologies.
• Ability to understand the big picture and have leadership acumen.
• 15-18 years prior experience in Software QA with complete grasp of QA process, testing life cycle, Various automation techniques, audit and 360 degree view of software testing, SDLC
• Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Computer Science combined with relevant work experience

Good to have skills:

• Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
• Programming knowledge in Javascript, bash scripting or any other programming language.
• Experience in working with AWS environment and AWS Services.
