IT Operations Engineer
The Opportunity:

We’re looking for an IT Operations Engineer with excellent customer service skills to help us field client questions, provide technical support, and troubleshoot issues in a cloud operations environment.
As an IT Operations Engineer on our team, you’ll ensure applications are functioning and available, help to manage user access to various parts of the platform and apply updates to infrastructure and applications as needed. You’ll help clients overcome tough challenges through monitoring and performance management. Your knowledge will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical network. Your communication skills will come in handy as you turn metrics into information and articulate their meaning.
This is an opportunity to gain experience in a cloud platform doing IT operations and helpdesk work. We focus on growing as a team, so we’ll share techniques, work through challenges, and develop new methodologies together. Work with us and resolve daily challenges as we improve our ability to serve the client’s digital needs.

You Have:
3+ years of experience with customer or technical support
Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) products and services
Experience with Linux or Windows
Experience with Commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) tools, such as Sharepoint or Jira
Knowledge of helpdesk ticketing systems and queues
Ability to work on a fast-paced team
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED
Security+ Certification
Nice If You Have:
Possession of excellent customer service skills
Bachelor’s degree
AWS Certification
Linux Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,300.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
