Requirements
  • A high school diploma, General Educational Development (GED) credential, or equivalent is required.
  • Experience with master scheduling for an electronics company is required.
  • Strong working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems at tactical and strategic levels is required.
  • Experience manipulating and analyzing data using Microsoft Excel and other software tools is required.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word, is required.
  • Ability to develop and communicate plans and schedules is required.
  • Ability to make conclusions and judgments about the feasibility and impact of plans and requests is required.
  • Ability to work effectively under deadlines in a dynamic work environment is required.
  • Ability to manage and analyze numerical data is required.
  • Excellent oral communication skills for presenting plans, analyses, and conclusions are required.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate with customers to receive and understand forecasts.
  • Input forecasts into the computer system and analyze the impact of changes.
  • Prepare input for sales forecasting and production planning processes.
  • Establish the master production schedule and maintain planning data, including lot sizes, lead times, and capacity plans.
  • Coordinate with the Customer Product Specialist on quotes, engineering change orders, and new product introduction.
  • Communicate with customers to manage sales order changes.
  • Provide priorities and resolve issues for the stockroom, production, and shipping teams to meet customer requirements.
  • Input, allocate, and release manufacturing orders.
  • Analyze potential shortages for manufacturing orders and work with the program team, purchasing, and production to determine an action plan.
  • Conduct weekly scheduling meetings with production and provide feedback to customers.
  • Monitor daily commitments for completion.
  • Analyze potential excess and obsolete inventory and material availability.
Desired Qualifications
  • APICS certification is preferred.
  • A two- or four-year Business degree is preferred.
  • Contract manufacturing experience is preferred.
