- Proven experience in product development/product management, preferably in a senior role
- An undergraduate degree in engineering, mathematics, finance, MBA or equivalent experience
- Ability to conceptualise business problems and solving them through data analysis
- Excellent written, oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritise and deliver on multiple threads of work in a dynamic constantly changing environment
- Strong personal work ethic, including personal initiative and ownership
- Sufficient technical background to effectively work with the engineering team
- Knowledge of advanced data mining and analytic methods. Hands on experience with SQL, R, Python, Spark or equivalent data analysis tools
- Ability to communicate effectively to senior management, peers and team members
- Can perform autonomously with little to no supervision and take on ambigious problems
- Enhancing the way that Skyscanner can serve travellers with greater personalisation
- Craft data product requirements working closely with a cross-functional team
- Help build and maintain user, keyword, hotels and cars marketing performance databases
- Help build a data framework for tracking the flow of users through the Skyscanner website
- Identify real-time partner interaction opportunities and drive strategy, roadmap, and features
- Establishing key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Write SQL queries to pull data and metrics
- Conduct ad-hoc data analysis and modelling for investigation, data validation, and quantification of business impact
- Overseeing the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality product
