- A sales degree, sales certification, or 1–2 years of sales experience is required.
- Learn the fundamentals of recruiting and sales, including prospecting, client engagement, requisition qualification, and delivery.
- Learn and execute all steps associated with the sales process.
- Identify target accounts in the defined territory and make cold calls to set meetings with prospective targets.
- Utilize Aerotek’s seven stages of the SOLVE model to target, engage, and service new and existing clients.
- Increase sales and market share through assigned and newly generated accounts.
- Research and build call sheets using tools such as LinkedIn and Connected.
- Identify, develop, and manage new and existing customer relationships by leveraging resources for lead generation.
- Complete Aerotek Account Manager onboarding training.
- Generate leads and set and attend meetings within the defined territory.
- Maximize profitability by negotiating bill rates and terms, and ensure direct labor rates align with market standards.
- Build and maintain account relationships by providing quality contractors and proactively marketing resumes of ideal candidates.
- Attend client-site meetings, client-manager meetings, and contractor lunches.
- Communicate account knowledge to recruiters, FOA, sales, and directors through requisition meetings and Red Zone meetings.
- Collaborate with Account Managers and Directors to support territory planning and workforce strategy.
- Generate, document, and track leads and conduct outreach to targeted customers.
- Sales internship or participation in sales competitions is encouraged.
