Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience bringing creative and dynamic email campaigns to fruition
  • Has supported a multi-channel CRM program with 10MM or more subscribers
  • Expert in CSS, HTML, Handlebars and MJML
  • Able to deliver complex dynamic email creative
  • Build scalable, easy-to-maintain email, push, and message center customer journeys
  • Experienced and knowledgeable about email development and inbox best practices, including email weight, dark mode, AMP and more
  • Highly experienced in Iterable, and how it ties to website data, actions and analytics
  • Understands email component-driven design systems
  • Understands web standards in an HTML email environment (W3C)
Responsibilities
  • Email templates/components development, and tying the template to the data structure
  • Existing email template/components modification, including clipping optimization
  • Ensuring emails are optimized across all platforms/devices
  • QA emails, journeys and data changes to our ESP
  • When necessary, provide consultation to a creative team on possible design constraints
  • Develop and integrate new feeds to incorporate personalization
  • Email feature development: AMP, logos in ESPs, dark mode, etc.
  • Translate the underlying data structure and requirements into technical requirements for partner teams
  • Develop dynamic content emails
  • Journey building in Iterable and cross training the team to ensure they are technically proficient
  • As we consider personalization for the future, take on building catalogs and collections in Iterable, and tying them to Babylist data and templates
  • Tie data to email, and help the team extract data
