Requirements
  • Minimum of 2+ years as an operator of a geotechnical drill rig
  • Extensive operation of CME brand drills, Truck and ATV mounted
  • Experience in soil sampling, rock coring, wet rotary drilling, monitoring well and other geotechnical instrumentation
  • General knowledge of soil & rock classifications (boring logs)
  • Knowledge of Texas Geology a plus
  • Current Water Well Driller License a plus, but not required
  • Travel as necessary to complete assigned projects
  • Valid Class B CDL license is required
Responsibilities
  • Implement safety procedures on site
  • Operate and maintain drill rigs, associated vehicles, and support equipment
  • Perform geotechnical and environmental drilling
  • Perform various drilling activities including soil drilling, rock coring, sampling, classification, in-situ testing, and monitoring well installation
  • Provide leadership to drill crew and work as a member of a team
  • Maintain necessary logs/records and file reports
