Requirements
  • 5+ years of property & casualty claims handling experience (focused on EMEA and US liability claims)
  • Deep knowledge of property damage, physical injuries, medical terminology, medical treatment protocols, and wage loss claims process
  • Proven experience working with third-party administrators, and internal and external legal teams in a high-volume claims environment
  • Deep technical claim knowledge, including experience with RMS
  • Professional Certified Claims Professional (CCP)
  • Familiarity with the legal and regulatory landscape affecting micromobility, including insurance laws, personal injury claims, and data privacy regulations relevant to customer and third-party claims
  • 3+ years in a management role
Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of Claims Specialists, including implementation of KPIs & individual development, and determine operational strategies
  • Determine authorization on settlement requests, set reserves, & approve reserve changes
  • Oversee global claims portfolio (including claims handled in-house, or forwarded to a TPA or an insurer for handling)
  • Develop, analyze, and distribute monthly and quarterly reports related to reserves, payments, claims activity, and productivity
  • Present trends & global claims risk profile to the executive leadership team
  • Cross-functional collaboration with Trust & Safety, Insurance, Customer Experience, Legal and Analytics Lime teams, as well as Insurers, TPAs, and outside counsel as required
  • Audit TPAs’ claim files and service invoices to ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements and accomplishment of key performance metrics
  • Ensure insurers are adhering to Claims SLAs and monitor insurance claim denials (requiring a strong understanding of Lime’s insurance policies)
